Dr. Tyler

Veterinarian/Owner
Dr. Tyler grew up in Tucson AZ and loves the desert southwest. She graduated from the University of Arizona in 1991. She received her Doctor of Veterinary medicine in 1996. She came back to the desert to practice and landed in Benson AZ. She bought Benson Animal Hospital and built up the practice to a three doctor practice. She sold the practice in Benson in 2012 to pursue other interests but found out quickly that Veterinary medicine is her interest. She went back to work in Sierra Vista at Coronado Veterinary Clinic for 2 years but found the corporate practice world to be too detached from patient needs and care. She came to look at Dr. Behney’s practice that was for sale and fell in love with the quirky round building and loved the town of Bisbee. After much work renovating the building, we opened June 8, 2015 to serve the small town of Bisbee and surrounding areas. Her philosophy is to provide preventative care to pets to keep them healthy and happy with their owners for the longest time possible. Catch the disease process early and we can really make a significant positive impact on the lives of the pets. She provides a loving and caring environment for your pets to decrease the stress of a veterinary visit. All pets should be treated like family and our goal is to be sure that we address all your pet’s needs.

My husband and I have moved to Bisbee and we love the town the people and the area. I have 5 dogs, all dachshund mixes. I love dachshunds because they are ornery and keep me laughing with their outrageous behavior. I also have two cats that are also do funny things like boxing matches and king of the cat tree games. I do not prefer dogs over cats I love them both equally. My husband is an oil painter. He paints beautiful paintings that are on our walls in the office and at the Belleza gallery.
